My last stay with them is before Covid, everything was prefect, in fact is my choice whenever going to Bangkok. However, this time round, it’s become one of the most disappointing experience for a 5 stars hotel, almost all staff except the staffs during morning breakfast has service, the rest will treat u like transparent..
Room was alright, can tell it’s old but well maintained, water pressure is so low, toilet stuck twice in 3 days. Another issue I faced is the lift, lift was so old, card reader can read sometime can’t read, have to visit the front desk 4times in 3days to have it fix..
3th June 2.30-3pm there is a electrical shut down, staff was not well trained at all, making my whole family walk here and there and eventually to the bar to sit, staff offer me to get a drink, when refused, a few staff was looking at me like I was not suppose to be there…
What a shame for a 5-stars hotel to have such services, there is no excuse to have such service considering the hotel has been around for 20+ years.. has this hotel pass his prime?
Only saving grace is, when I approached the front desk manager, she is really nice and kind, accepting the comment with grace. She is the only positive staff I made throughout the stay.. sorry forgotten your name, but thank u so much! All the best to u…
As for me, I will be returning on the 19th June, I’m still struggling, should I be given this once the best hotel in Thailand another chance.
